It’s been three months since the debut of the Apple Watch, and reams are already written about it being the most awaited watch to an epic failure. Now, a survey conducted by Wristly and Ben Bajarin of Techpinions reveals 97 percent of the 1000 early adopters of the watch say they are satisfied with the watch. This is way higher than the first-generation iPhone and iPad consumer satisfaction ratings. Out of the 1000 Apple Watch owners, 66 percent are very satisfied with the device, 31 percent are somewhat satisfied. Overall, the Apple Watch has a customer satisfaction rating of 97%. The report also points out tech-savvy users were more critical of the device than casual consumers. These early adopters would rather ask their friends to wait until the product is worth buying. On the others, those who weren’t very tech savvy showed a lot more enthusiasm for the watch. “Those whose job it was to think about the Apple Watch or who were early adopters who thought deeply about tech and the tech products they buy, were all much more critical of the watch. You could tell they evaluated it and thought about it deeply from every angle by their responses. Then I talked with teachers, firefighters, insurance agents, and those not in the tech industry and not hard-core techies. These groups of people couldn’t stop raving about the Apple Watch and how much they loved the product,” Ben Bajarin writes. The smartwatch was announced last year in September, and hit store shelves in April this year. The sales have fallen by 90 percent since its launch week of 1.5 million units, a recent Slice Intelligence report said. Slice research is based on electronic receipts sent to millions of email addresses following purchases. The report adds that two-thirds units sold so far are the cheapest “Sport” version, which means the lowest-profit device that starts at $349, instead of the costlier variants. The gold variant hasn’t sparked the same excitement as the iPhone gold, and the report claims less than 2000 units have been sold in the US. Going by **Google Trends** , the Apple Watch is searched the least among Apple products, and even the iPod surpasses it.
