Apple Violates Patent Again, Claims Nokia

Last year, Nokia filed a legal suit against the iPhone maker. This obviously comes as an update to the already long list of patent suits filed by Nokia accusing Apple of intellectual property violation.

The heavier side?

The heavier side?

What began even before Apple’s iPhone was launched has been growing in number and now stands at 46. This time, the International Trade Commission (ITC) has been approached by Nokia over seven infringed mobile patents that include multi tasking, data synchronization, use of Bluetooth, positioning and calling quality. Nokia’s previous grievances to ITC indicated the violation of the Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, according to which infringed technology could not be exported. Over the years, both Nokia and Apple have indulged in mud-slinging by suing and counter-suing each other over alleged intellectual property infringements.
