For all Disney and Pixar fans who are Apple users, you can now use Clips version 1.1 and start adding Woody and Mickey to your videos.
Apple has released a host of graphic overlays, adding Disney and Pixar characters to the mix, which can be used in creating videos for iOS in their Clips app. These features are available after a free update on both, iPhone and iPad.
Clips, the video creation app for iOS, basically combines video clips, photos, and music into short animated clips. These can be shared via messaging platforms or on social networks like Instagram and Facebook, making posts and conversations more expressive.
The Disney characters in the new update are the good ol' evergreen couple Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, along with Donald Duck. Maybe later with more updates, one can see Live Titles of a racing Roadrunner from The Roadrunner Show. Overlay, on the other hand includes, 10 overlays and 12 posters designed by Apple. These are thematic graphics which also include 3D pop-art and a billowing smoke effect.
The Clips update can be downloaded from the App store for free.
Apple has added more fun to Clips, which is not your usual serious Photos editor and neither is as detailed and capable as iMovie. Clips mostly appeals to a younger Instagram, Snapchat or Facebook generation.
In order to compete with the likes of Prisma, Snapchat, and Messenger, Apple had come out with Clips in March, earlier this year.
