Apple, the Most Valuable Brand in the World: Miillward Brown

According to a detailed study by a global agency, Miillward Brown’s brands study called Brandz; Apple has taken over the position of the most valuable brand in the world. Google had been safely perched on this position from the past four years, and has now taken a slip to the second position.

Valuable? Truly!

The study further revealed that it was probably the immense fame that the iPad garnered that did the trick for Apple. Pegging its total worth at a whopping $153 billion, Apple’s brand value zipped past the likes of Microsoft, and now Google mainly because of its unique pricing model, as also for the fact that it paid minute attention to detail, further stated the agency’s report.

Apple now stands tall atop a list of 100 global powerful brands list which includes names like Google, IBM, McDonald’s, Microsoft, Coca Cola, AT&T, Marlboro, China Mobile, GE, in that order.
