Apple’s WWDC announcement seems to have taken the Twitter trending list by storm today. For those who don’t know yet, the WWDC is Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference that is taking place in San Francisco. It started yesterday and is slated to go on till June 14.
Twitter is abuzz with talk of Apple, WWDC, iOS 7 and iTunes Radio..
Following the keynote speech that took place yesterday, the Indian trends list is abuzz with mentions of the new iOS 7 at the time of writing. The talk was centered on the announcements of the new line-up that Apple is coming up with. The WWDC hashtag was seen trending on the second spot on the list, while the iOS 7 hashtag came in the fourth spot. Here is what some of the international Twitter users have to say.
#wwdc was all about style -- and some very important moves to control own destiny. @techmeme @gregbensinger http://t.co/YWdM8uERuo

Indian Twitter users have also expressed their thoughts on the iOS 7 and WWDC in general. Here is what they have to say.
The best feature of #iOS7 is Activation Lock, for those of us who've had an iPhone stolen. Apart from that, iOS 7 is nothing above average.

The radical new design that the iOS 7 has been seen sporting has drawn a lot of discussion on the platform. On one hand, there is a lot of talk about the anger that many designers have over the new look. On the other hand, a few users have been quite impressed with the new operating system and have tweeted their appreciation.

The revamped Macbook Air also drew a lot of attention from users. As reported earlier, the Macbook Air will be joining the list of computers which are joining the Haswell movements.
iTunes Radio also featured prominently on the trends list. Many users are talking about being able to access the 26 million plus titles in the iTunes catalogue. The question about how iTunes will fare against Pandora, Spotify and others is also being raised.
Apple has finally introduced the much-anticipated iTunes Radio, with access to 26-million titles in the iTunes catalog. #ios7

How iOS 7 will look on the iPhone 4, the iPhone 4S and on the iPhone 5 was a hot topic of discussion as well. Many users seem kicked about how the iOS will look. However, other users seemed dissapointed with the changes in the icons and the way the new user interface looked.
How did Android copy so many iOS 7 visual elements even before it was released? Shameless.

With WWDC going on for a couple of days, it looks like Apple may stay on the Twitter trending lists for some time on the Twittersphere.
