Apple is offering price cuts of as much as $550 on refurbished models of its 15 inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display.
Apple frequently updates its list of refurbished models. The company tests and certifies all Apple refurbished products and include a 1-year warranty. However supplies are limited and it was unclear as to how many units of the Macbook Pro were up for sale.
Availability is guaranteed upon receipt of full payment.
The Apple Insider website noted that an entry level model with a 2.3GHz Quad-core i7 processor with 8GB of memory and a 256-gigabyte solid state drive is priced at $1,869, a 15 percent saving equaling $330.
Also available is a 2.6GHz model with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD for $2,379, or a maxed-out 2.7GHz model with 16GB of RAM and a 768GB SSD for $3,189, with the prices representing a savings of $420 and $560, respectively.

The new prices come even as a Digitimes report stated that Apple is already working to release new improved version of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro by June 2013. The report states that Apple has asked supply chain makers to revise the notebook models.
Apple had launched new versions of the MacBook Air and Pro at its annual WWDC conference in June last year. It had sharply reduced the size and thickness of the MacBook Pro to make it nearly as slim as the Air.
