Apple rumoured to release a 'Deep Blue' version of the iPhone 7

A number of rumours have been pouring in for Apple’s upcoming line of smartphones including a ‘Pro’ version with a dual-lens camera arrangement , skipping of the 3.5mm audio jack and many more. Now a new speculation is doing the round that says Apple will come up with a brand new colour for its new iPhones. According to Mac Otakara, Apple will discontinue the Space Grey option making way for a new ‘Deep Blue’ colour variant. Apple currently sells the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in four colours, Silver, Gold, Rose Gold andSpace Grey. Axing the Space Grey colour variant could disappoint some fans, but it also makes sense since the Silver colour option also offer a shade of grey. Apple has slowly progressed into adding colours to the iPhone. If you remember, the iPhone 3G only came in Black and White colour options and then came the era of the Silver and Gold followed by the more recent, Rose Gold. We can expect Apple to announce the new iPhone 7 and more in September with various leaks and rumours pointing out that the new smartphone will have a design and form factor similar to that of both the iPhone 6 and 6s with minor changes in the design of the antennae bands. It may or may not include a 3.5mm headphone jack and will feature a new A10 chip, faster LTE and Wi-Fi chips along with waterproofing.
