Sources have said that users can expect certain fixes that users of the five beta versions have been experiencing post the release of iOS 7. The fifth beta version of iOS 7.1 in fact has just arrived to registered iOS developers. Considering the time frame, March would be a pretty ideal time for Apple to officially roll out an update.

As far as the beta versions of iOS 7.1 go, we can expect some visual changes to come along with the update. Some changes to the dialer, minor ones to the UI for the music app should be expected. Apple may also turn off the parallax effect, or the wallpaper motion, a feature that did not go down too well with Apple users with iOS 7 was released. The update might, however, keep folder animations intact.

Most importantly, iOS 7.1 should bring along some major bug fixes, something that Apple users have been waiting for. It was earlier reported that multiple iDevice users had been complaining of the “White screen of death” with iOS 7. The bug would randomly reboot the iOS device and has been around since September for some users.

The Cupertino-based company had said that it was aware of the issue that caused random crashes on iOS 7 devices and was working on bringing out a fix soon. It was unclear back then if Apple would roll this fix out as a separate update or bundled with the iOS 7.1 one. It now seems fairly certain that the fix for the crash issue will come along with iOS 7.1.
