Apple MacBook Pro refresh arriving in October: Report

Apart from the redesigned MacBook Pro, the company is also expected to be working on an update for the MacBook Air models with USB-C ports as well as new iMacs with AMD graphics cards that could launch before the end of the year.

The new iPhone 7 (and the Plus) along with the Apple Watch Series 2 have gone official but there is a high possibility that Apple has more up its sleeves. According to MacRumors, Apple is working on bringing the refreshed version of the MacBook lineup starting with the MacBook Pro in the month of October.

We have heard numerous rumours in the past about the next-gen MacBook Pro and currently macOS 10.12.1 is in the final stages of development which is scheduled to release in a week or so. The new version is said to bring support for new hardware features like Touch ID and the OLED panel that are expected to arrive on the new MacBook Pro.

Apart from the redesigned MacBook Pro, the company is also expected to be working on an update for the MacBook Air models with USB-C ports as well as new iMacs with AMD graphics cards that could launch before the end of the year.

Launching three updated lineups in a span of just three months sounds interesting, maybe Apple has planned to launch one every month? Apple is also said to be working with LG on a new 5K external display to replace the old Apple Thunderbolt Display, which could launch at the same time as the Mac Pro and Mac mini.
