If the buzz is to be believed, Apple’s digital music store, iTunes, will soon begin offering movies for rent. Macworld has reported that Jon Feltheimer, CEO of Lions Gate Entertainment has just confirmed a deal with iTunes, but did not give details about the launch. Company president Steve Beeks added that the movie rentals are most likely to begin before the end of this year.

According to Film magazine, Apple has secured deals with Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros but there are no confirmations from them yet.
