The new Apple
iPhone X
is expected to cross 40-50 million pre-order units according to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. With the iPhone X, Apple chucked out the fingerprint sensor and replaced it with a facial recognition system. The
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
which were launched globally recently,
couldn’t bring too many buyers
as it’s expected that Apple fans are waiting for the iPhone X. [caption id=“attachment_4067867” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]

report
on StreetInsider.com, KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has claimed that iPhone X might cross the 40-50 million mark with iPhone X pre-order units. The analyst had also predicted about Apple
removing fingerprint sensor
from all of its iPhone devices including iPhone 8 before the launch of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Kuo said that “iPhone X is seen as the first model refresh since iPhone 6 from 2014, offering a revamped form factor design. We think Apple’s (US) core fans and some
iPhone 6
and iPhone 6s users are willing to pay a hefty price for this upgraded device.” The KGI analyst also added that “As regards Face ID, we’re now convinced that True-depth camera (3D sensing) creates a far stronger user experience than those of Apple’s rivals.” The report also mentioned that the shipment of iPhone X components are likely to increase in October and component suppliers have ‘pulled in iPhone 8 from 4th quarter of 2017 to 3rd quarter of 2017 so that more resources can be allocated to meet the robust demand.’
