Alleged Apple iPhone 6 specs, images leaked on Amazon Japan page

As the date for the iPhone 6 launch draws closer, more and more leaks are taking place around the next smartphone from Apple. _WSJ_ just reported that the company has reportedly asked suppliers to pump out70 to 80 million devices of the next iPhone, which will come with a bigger screen size.   Now it seems that all the specs and details of iPhone 6 were leaked on one of the biggest retailers in the world: Amazon. According to a report on LoadTheGame, the Amazon Japan had a full page with the iPhone 6 with details for the 4.7-inch screen version. “The listing also reveals that the device will be running on the iOS 8 operating system and that it will come equipped with 64GB internal storage memory, on the gold option at least,” adds the report. What remains a secret is still the chipset. Given the usual route that Apple follows, it’s likely that the chip will be called A8, since A7 is the chip on iPhone 5s.   Of course the page has been removed from the website, but not before a screenshot was taken and widely shared.  In essence the Amazon page confirms what has been a big will-they, won’t-they when it comes to Apple: a bigger screen. We can clearly see that there will be an iPhone 6 front and back with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch designs.   However as this piece on Forbes points out the leak was likely a fake, even though the two-screen thing is now taken as a given.   According to Forbes’ Gordon Kelly, “the images of the two phones are not proportional it suggests the listing is using an earlier holding image which implies that the dummy units may actually be newer and closer to the final iPhone 6 design.”   He also adds that the smartphone’s “dimensions appear too good to be true,” noting that “an increase of just 0.39-inches does not seem enough for Apple to squeeze in the extra 0.7-inches of the iPhone 6’s display.” He also points out that the listing was “posted by a Marketplace seller, not Amazon itself.” And Amazon has refused to comment on the story for now.   So yeah, while the images from the leak do look great, it’s most likely not what the new iPhone 6 will look like.  Where other rumours of the iPhone 6 and their screens are concerned, a Reuters report had said that both iPhone 6 screens are expected to use in-cell touch panel technology – built into the screen and allowing for thinner construction than with standard touch panel films.   Where design is concerned, we had noted in the past that leaks hinted that Apple will be going for a more rounded body and the iPhone 6 will be even slimmer than the current-generation iPhone 5s flagship.   **Another video had shown,**   “front glass panels of the alleged 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model with thinner bezels and compared it to the iPhone 5s that has slightly broad bezels.
