Apple iOS 9 public beta arrives; Offers special space to store selfies, screenshots

Earlier this week, Apple announced the iOS 9 beta release. The beta version was made accessible to registered developers last month, but now the public beta are free for all. This means, you don’t need a developer ID priced at $99 that translates to approximately Rs 6,300. One of the highlights of the iOS 9 beta is that the phone will now automatically detect pictures and store them into separate groups for selfies and screenshots. This means an end to your photo library filled with unnecessary screenshots and embarrassing selfies. “It seems that the phone decides what a screenshot or a selfie based on how they have been taken, rather than by using any special image recognition technology, reports a Times of India report. iPhones already have their own folders for time-lapse, slo-mo, burst photos and videos . Google Photos is also capable of recognising screenshots, selfies and other types of pictures. However, it does so using complicated software programs. At the WWDC 2015, Apple had introduced iOS 9 that comes as a 1.8GB installation size instead of a whopping 4.6GB of iOS 8. Here are some **highlights of the new mobile OS** . At the event, the new version of OS X was christened OS X El Capitan, which is also available to public as a beta version. **Click here** , to know more about its performance, experience and features. On registering for public beta uisng the Apple ID to sign up, users will notice a feedback Assistant app on both MAc and mobile. This will let users give feedback about the new OSes.
