Apple announced the all new iPhone 7 last night and the biggest rumour of them all was finally confirmed, no 3.5mm headphone jack . Apart from announcing lightning based earphones, the company also showcased the all new AirPods , a pair of wireless earphones that can seamlessly and instantly connect to your iPhone. While they look quite ugly, they incorporate a new W1 wireless chip developed by Apple itself. Committed towards its partnership with Beats Audio, the company has announced a bunch of new Beats headphones that utilise the new micro-chip. Meet the new Beats Solo3, Powerbeats3 and BeatsX. All three of them can be paired to an iPhone by just powering them up and holding them near the device. Not only will they pair with your iPhone, but they will connect to your Apple Watch and Mac. While the Solo3 and Powerbeats3 are upgrades, the BeatsX are a part of a whole new series aimed at being a pair of everyday headphones. The headphones come with a fast-charging solution called Fast Fuel. This has the capability to deliver 3 hours of playback for the Solo3, 2 hours of playback for the BeatsX and an hour of playback for the Powerbeats3 with just 5 minutes of charging. The Solo3 headphones are priced at $299 (Rs 20,000 approx) while the Powerbeats3 and BeatsX will be available for $199 (Rs 13,000 approx) and $149 (Rs 9,900 approx), respectively. Availability for India is not yet confirmed.
