The transition to Apple’s iOS 7 has definitely not been the smoothest for many users. After some people complained that iOS 7 was causing motion sickness and dizziness , it now turns out that iMessage is suffering from a serious glitch in the new OS.
iMessage app allows for free messages between Apple users. The issue with iMessage according to users was that while the message was shown as sent, later on big red exclamation mark would appear, to highlight that the message didn’t go through.
Apple has said in a statement that it is aware of the issue and will soon release a fix for its in the next software update.Apple also told TechCrunch that only a fraction of iMessage users were affected by the issue.
TechCrunch says that for now the temporary fix for the iMessage problem is to go to the settings and turn off iMessage, “then use the Reset Network Settings function of iOS to clear activation. Turning iMessage back on re-authenticates your device with iMessage.”
