From Twitter’s Vine update to new BBM stickers, it has been quite an exciting week in the apps world. If you are an app happy person, then here’s a quick recap of the app updates this week you should know about.   **Vine** Twitter has added a new messaging feature to its short-video service Vine. The new ‘Vine Messaging’ feature enable users to send text messages along with videos to their contacts. To make it more attractive, Twitter has done away with the need to have an account to send Vine messages. Even if the person you want to send the video is not on Vine, you can still send them messages through email or SMS. Download the latest  iOS version and  Android version of Vine and start messaging.   **Twitter** Earlier, one would have to use the ‘Since:’ and ‘Until:’ prefixes to look for a tweet from particular date. Now, Twitter has made changes to the advanced search feature on the web version, to allow all users to easily look for tweets from a particular day. The advanced search page now has separate text entry fields for since and till dates, along with the other already-existing People and keyword options. In addition, you can also search for tweets by date based on a particular mood i.e negative or positive. Twitter also added  **support for emojis** on web to make your tweets a bit more colourful. The People section will now show Android users what other users have been looking for. The People feed has been integrated with Google+ and allows to quickly follow users and view their full profile. The feed also  shows what others have reviewed, +1′d or shared.   **Samsung ChatOn** Samsung has updated its homegrown messaging app ChatOn and the version 3.5 of the instant messenger brings some much-desired features that could revive its fortunes in the highly-competitive messaging market. In what’s a first for any mainstream messaging service, users can now recall sent messages that were exchanged in one to one conversation with their friends or contacts. Recalling the message is possible even after the message has been delivered to the other person. Another new feature of ChatOn is that the users will be able to share their location in real time for a limited period of time. You can now send files up to 1GB, while group chat capacity has been increased from 200 to a massive 1001. The update also brings along natural gestures for turning digital pages and a new note layout for its regular Evernote apps. The update also lets users set a default color for each pen width. Users can download Penultimate from the Apple Apps store.   Google Keep Evernote’s rival Google Keep also got a new update this week. Google rolled out the ability to search for text in photos uploaded to the service. It has also added the ability to tweak how lists are handled. Android users can download Google Keep from Google Play store.   **BBM** Blackberry has launched the latest version of BBM for Android, iOS and its native BlackBerry 10 OS. The new version lets users send larger files, share photos in multi-person chat and buy stickers from BBM Shop. The BBM app can be downloaded from the BlackBerry World,  Google Play Store, and  Apple App store.
