While we were still recovering from the Google I/O tide; this week, Google went ahead and announced the inclusion of Android Wear in the Play store and in Google’s Play Services. This was arguably the key highlight in the app world this week.   While Android Wear had a grand welcome to the Play store, QuickOffice was made to exit following its integration with other productivity apps. Here’s a quick round up of some of the key app updates this week.   Facebook Messenger for iPad Facebook Messenger is now available for the iPad, which can be downloaded from the  Apple App store. It comes with a multi-window interface that displays a list of threads alongside your current conversation. iOS users can find most of the messenger’s features including stickers and group chat. However, Facebook hasn’t added some of the latest features like split-screen selfie camera and tap-and-hold quick video recordings.   Download the Facebook Messenger app for iOS from the  Apple App store. Existing users will still be able to use the app, though no new features will be added.   Apps for Android Wear Android Wear owners can enjoy customised apps on their devices with new Android Wear apps on the Play store.  Android Wear apps are available on a separate page on the Play Store under the section Apps for Android Wear.
