This week saw quite a few nifty app updates, especially if you are an iOS user. For those who want to keep a track of what's new in the app world, here’s a quick recap.
Facebook Pages Manager for iOS
Facebook brings some good news for social media and online marketers. Facebook's Pages Manager app for iOS has been updated with the option to schedule photo posts. The feature is already available on Android. The Pages Manager app had recently received a facelift to make it compatible with iOS 7, along with the ability to tag users in posts and comments.
Users can download Facebook Pages Manager from the Apple app Store.
Adobe Photoshop Express for Android
Adobe has revamped its Photoshop Express app for Android. The new Version 2.0 has been completely re-built and is now KitKat-compatible. It will now allow faster access to images stores on SD card and adds one-touch filters along with other enhancements. Users can also access the Corrections menu with slider controls to fine-tune exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, temperature, tint and more. The app lets you edit photos and them on social networks like Facebook, twitter and others.

iCouchApp for iOS
The popular iCouchApp – that serves as a platform for users to discuss TV shows - now comes to iOS. Customised specifically for TV viewers and channels, it lets users chat LIVE while watching TV programs. The app also offers latest photos, videos, gossips, news and updates about your favorite shows. Moreover, users can participate in surveys, reviews their favorite shows, take polls and get more information about interesting shows.
iOS users can download the iCouchApp for free from the Apple App store.
VLC for iOS
VideoLan is next to update the popular VLC app for iOS 7. Along with a UI for iOS 7, the VLC app also adds a slew of improvements such as new gestures, Google Drive integration, Dropbox streaming and improved UPnP support. The app also brings in support for more streaming formats and protocols. The team calls it the version 2.2.0 that also brings improved privacy when using Passcode Lock.

Google Play Music for iOS
Google has quickly churned out an update for the newly released iOS version of Google Play Music. Like most other apps, Google also adds an iOS 7 flavour, giving the app a visual refresh. This isn’t all; the app also gets the I’m Feeling Lucky Radio feature that offers a selection of music at your fingertips. It also adds auto-playlists to the Playlist menu and the ability to search for genres in addition to artists, songs and albums.

Beats Music for App Store
This week, Dr. Dre’s music streaming service dubbed Beats Music was launched for iOS users. The Beats Music subscription costs $9.99 per month for unlimited streaming from its catalog of more than 20 million songs. The app helps users discover artists and albums by recommending music that suits a user’s tastes.
