One of the most popular games of all times, Angry Birds has been updated to version 2.5.0; this one’s for Angry Birds Seasons and the update is for the iOS platform. The updated version is about the Back to School season, while still basking in the summer sun and quite in line to that it is full of Pencils, apples, backpacks, playgrounds. Angry Birds Seasons now features 20 brand new schoolyard levels and new bonus levels. Users will have to puzzle their way through the twenty levels. Among other things, the updated version also features the new theme music. The new pink bird that is one of the highlights of this update is most definitely an eye-catcher. Introducing her, the changelog reads, “She’s cute, pink, and bubbly – but watch out, this girl is no pushover!”

As per its description on the iTunes App store, Angry Birds Seasons “takes the captivating gameplay of the original to a whole new level! From Halloween to Chinese New Year, the birds are celebrating different festive seasons around the world! With more than 290 levels and regular free updates, these special episodes offer more challenging levels of pig-popping action and golden eggs to discover."
Only recently, we had reported about a sneaky update coming to users with respect to app purchasing and updating. The last update took place in January and was China themed (for Chinese New Year), whereas this update went a little further east to Japan. The update featured a theme called Cherry Blossom, which featured 15 new levels and, of course, golden egg levels. The setting was a Japanese garden with cherry blossom trees.
Early this month, we had reported about Rovio introducing an update to its flagship title, Angry Birds. At the time, it had been reported that the new update added a bunch of new stuff to the original game. The update to the iOS version of the massively popular game added fifteen new tropical levels for players to fling around birds to destroy the pigs. The update also added some new power ups that players could buy: King Sling, Birdquake, Super Seeds and Sling Scope.
The updated version of Angry Birds Seasons is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, and it requires iOS 3.0 or later.
