The rather peculiar puzzle game The Room has been updated with a new chapter. Called Epilogue, the chapter seems to be the bridge between the game and the announced sequel, which is making its way to Android and iOS later this year. The changelog says, “Follow its mysteries wherever they lead to understand the past and foreshadow the future.” The update is completely free on both Android and iOS.
The Room has been critically praised by almost everyone for its clever puzzles and unique control system. In the game, players are in a 3D world and have to rotate and move objects to figure out answers, and in some cases, questions. It’s high-end graphics further help this because moving around a key, for example, and putting it in a keyhole feels natural, owing to the game’s realistic physics engine.

Get ready for the epilogue
The developers have won quite a few awards for the game, including Apple’s Best of 2012 Game of the Year.
Despite its minimalistic design and cryptic, the game also has a story. Players step into the shoes of a person looking into some research a friend of theirs worked on. The game ends up being a blend of logic-based puzzles with simple ciphers and even some cryptography.
The game is available on both Android and iOS and is currently on sale. The Android version costs Rs 57 and the iOS version costs Rs 55. Because of the high-end graphics, players will need powerful smartphones or tablets to be able to play the game.
Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
