The web’s leading online shopping site Amazon.com has decided to use MSN search to run its A9 search unit. This search technology is powered by Microsoft’s new Windows Live effort, which is at the core of the company’s efforts to win online advertising revenue. Amazon’s search engine, A9, is a comprehensive search engine that breaks down searching into various categories such as Web searches, book searches, and blog searches. Google, whose contract expired last week earlier provided the search technology for both A9 Search engine and Amazon.com site.
