Amazon release Kindle Oasis with 7-inch display, waterproof design starting at Rs 21,999

Amazon has announced its all-new Kindle e-reader called as the Kindle Oasis for Rs 21,999. Amazon has indicated that the new Kindle has the largest screen and the highest-resolution paperwhite display in comparison to all other Kindle devices. It also comes along with fast-charging capability that enables the device to be fully charged in two hours. The Kindle has a battery life which can last for weeks and the screen size measures upto 7-inches. Amazon claims that the Kindle Oasis can fit over 30 percent more words per page and also has the fastest page turns amongst all other Kindles. The device weighs 194 grams and has a 3.4 mm thickness along with an aluminum back. Built-in light sensors in the Kindle Oasis automatically adjust the display to your surroundings and there is also the option of inverting black and white settings if the user has light sensitivity issues. There is also an option of choosing from five levels of boldness and new font-sizes. The new Kindle has two storage variants namely the 8 GB which is for Rs 21,999 and the 32 GB (3G + free Wi-Fi) which is for Rs 28,999.
