Amazon.in is most visited e-commerce site in India, says CEO Jeff Bezos; offers gift vouchers today!

Founder and CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos sent out an email thanking its customers as Amazon.in becomes the most visited e-commerce site in India just two and a half years after launch.

Amazon.in is most visited e-commerce site in India, says CEO Jeff Bezos; offers gift vouchers today!

Founder and CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos sent out an email thanking its customers as Amazon.in becomes the most visited e-commerce site in India just two and a half years after launch. In an attempt to celebrate and thank its customers, the company has announced an Amazon.in gift card of Rs 200 for all customers who shop on Amazon.in today, that is December 14. According to the mail, Jeff Bezos states, “We have built a vibrant marketplace with tens of thousands of sellers offering everyday low prices on India’s largest selection of over 30 million products and bringing alive our “Aur Dikhao” promise to customers.” Users will get Rs 200 Amazon.in Gift card on orders worth Rs 500 and above placed today. All products available on Amazon.in (excluding Amazon Gift Cards) are eligible for this offer. Each customer is eligible to receive only one gift card of value Rs 200 irrespective of the number of orders placed. A Gift Card of value Rs 200 will be added to the Amazon.in account by January 20, 2016 respectively. ![Capture](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Capture3.jpg) In addition, the mail also provided statistics from comScore which shows Amazon.in’s growth and lead in comparison with Jabong, Snapdeal and Flipkart. He also said, “We will keep growing our investments in India and continue to work hard for our Indian sellers and customers. At Amazon, we like to say it is still day 1, and that is certainly true for us in India.”
