Amazon Great India Sale starts today, to go on till 10 August

Starting today, Amazon’s Great India Sale goes live on web as well as the app. The sale will last for three days until 10 August, and offers discounts across a range of products. In addition to discounts, the e-commerce site offers additional 10 percent and 7.5 percent discount for SBI users on web and mobile respectively.

Recently, Amazon announced the start of its Prime service in India. Members of the Amazon Prime service will get a 30-min early access to all the deals that will be part of the Amazon ‘Great India Sale’. Amazon Prime membership is free as of now for 60-days, post which it will be Rs 499 per year and later be bumped up to Rs 999 per year. The Amazon Prime membership gives you access to unlimited, free 1-day and 2-day deliveries on select Amazon products.

Some of the exclusives to Amazon include the Moto G Plus fourth generation (32GB) priced at Rs 14,999, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note price slashed to Rs 10,999 from Rs 11,499, 32-inch HD Ready LED TV from Sanyo at Rs 14,990 (price before discount Rs 19,990), Galaxy On 7 Pro gold variant at Rs 10,190 and the new Xiaomi Mi 5 at Rs 22,999.

To encourage users to shop via mobile, Amazon will allow users to shop and win a OnePlus 3 for orders priced above Rs 299. Amazon is also offering up to 50 percent discounts on select products. Some of these discounts are for a limited period. For instance, you the Philips SHL5000/00 On Ear headphones are available at Rs 599, and the discount period ends in the next 5 hours.

The website also shows a section for Upcoming deal, which for now, shows the TCL 562 Metal Gold variant that will go on sale in an hour. The sale is across product categories, and under electronics, you will find big discounts on television, laptop, smartphones, hard drives and printers. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 CR5-00028 12.3 inches gets Rs 20,000 off and is priced at Rs 58,890.
