All you need to know about BlackBerry Z10 camera

The BlackBerry Z10 features an 8 megapixel camera at the rear of the handset. It’s coupled with a single LED to be used as a flash for low light pictures or whenever necessary. The camera can easily be accessed even from the lock screen icon by simply keeping the icon pressed for a few seconds. A dedicated camera option is also embedded into the system and is always present from the main menus or the Live apps page. Features include a Burst Mode setting to capture multiple images in quick success.

Burst mode and Best Shot are also featured in many camera apps for various smartphone platforms—for example, Fast Burst Camera for Android and Photoburst for iPhone can shoot around 10 photos per seconds. Time Shift mode captures a few milliseconds before and after your photo, so that you can pinpoint and adjust exact moments of your picture to create the perfect shot. Simply scroll back and forth on the dial to open one friend’s eyes and catch your other friend smiling, then combine it all into the same photo. At the end of your trip, you ask your mother and brother to pose for a quick family portrait before you run to the taxi to get to the airport. There is only time for one shot, but Time Shift mode allows you to adjust the picture so that your mother’s eyes are open and your brother is smiling. You save the perfect photo as you are riding in the taxi, email it to both of them, and post it on your social networks.

To quickly take a picture or start recording a video from the Camera application, press the Volume Up key or the Volume Down key. Press either key again to stop recording. The phone is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and comes with 2GB of RAM. The BlackBerry Z10 will be kept powered on by an 1800mAh battery. The BlackBerry Z10 offers exclusive access to BlackBerry World, which includes movies, music and TV shows for purchase and rentals. A new feature called BlackBerry Balance, ensures that your work account and your personal space are kept apart. when using your official account, the office administrator has no access to your SD card, keeping your private life segregated from your professional one.
