All-new Search and Explore on Instagram: See the world as it happens

Mobile photo sharing and social networking service Instagram has revamped its search and now has an all new Explore page. According to the official Instagram blog , Instagram has “reimagined the Explore page to make discovery on Instagram immediate and effortless. The new Explore now surfaces trends as they emerge in real-time, connecting you to events and conversations both near you and around the globe.” Similar to Twitter and Facebook, Instagram now has trending tags. So the next time you celebrate holi, all the colourful shots would appear under a dedicated tile. The approach taken by Instagram is definitely modern and implements a minimalist design approach in its interface, which is quite engaging.

The sad part, well, the blog adds, “To start, these updates to Explore will only be available in the United States. We’ll work to bring it to the rest of the world after we fine tune the experience and set it up to work well in other countries.”
