All you need to know about the Airtel's Karbonn A 40 Indian 4G smartphone effectively priced at Rs 1,399

**Bharti Airtel** has announced an android smartphone priced at Rs 1,399 in India. The company has collaborated with the Indian smartphone manufacturer **Karbonn** to provide the phone to the customers. To avail the offer and get the Karbonn smartphone at Rs 1,500, customers will have to buy it at the original price and then recharge an Airtel SIM with Rs 3,000 within 18 months to get a cashback of Rs 500. The user will have to continue to recharge with Rs 3,000 for further 18 months to get an additional cashback of Rs 1,000. All the cashbacks provided by Airtel totals Rs 1,500 which means that the consumer pays Rs 1,399 for the smartphone. Airtel is also providing unlimited calling and 500 MB data per day on the recharge of Rs 169 to the customers. The recharge is valid for 28 days. Smartphone Design The Android smartphone from Karbonn is sleek and thin and the front of the phone comes with a touchscreen display. The screen has three virtual key symbols on the bottom of the display in front of the device. It comes in four color variants including Blue, Coffee Brown, Black and Champagne. The Karbonn A 40 is 10.5 mm thick, 122.95 mm in height and 64.3 mm wide.

The charging port of the phone sits on the top of the phone beside a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Volume keys and power key are placed on the right side of the phone. The camera on the back of the device sits beside the flash light and the speakers has been placed on the bottom part on the rear panel of the smartphone. Smartphone Specification Karbonn A 40 Indian comes with a 4 inch (10.16 cm) WVGA capacitive touch display and 2 MP rear and 0.3 MP front camera. The company has also provided dual-sim card slot and a microSD card slot to increase the internal memory of the phone upto 32 GB. The smartphone packs 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM. The device is powered by a 1,400 mAh battery. The connectivity option includes Bluetooth, Wi-fi 802.11. It supports 4G LTE network, 3G, 2G, GPRS and EDGE that helps in data connection. Karbonn A 40 runs on Android Nougat 7.0 and supports 22 languages including various regional languages.
