The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus launch is just 5 hours away from now, at 7PM. A lot of online etailers as well as offline retailers have already announced special plans and cashback offers. Telecom provider Airtel too has jumped on the bandwagon.
According to Airtel, the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus buyers who have an Airtel Infinity postpaid plan, will be eligible for 10GB of free 3G/4G data per month for 12 months.
The Airtel myPlan Infinity rate card starts from Rs 949 and goes all the way to Rs 2,999 with a data limit going from 1GB to 20GB. Airtel says the 10GB free 3G/4G data will be offered over an above the existing plan benefits, irrespective of the plan. So you get 120GB of free 3G/4G data to be used for a year.
Ajai Puri, director operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said, "Customers can now enjoy the latest iPhone on India’s leading mobile broadband network with bundles of data and unlimited voice calling with our Infinity plans.”
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be available in the silver, gold and rose gold variants in the 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variants whereas the Jet Black variant will be available only in 128GB and 256GB variants.
The 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variants of the iPhone 7 are priced at Rs 60,000, Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000, respectively. The bigger iPhone 7 Plus models are priced at Rs 72,000 for 32GB, Rs 82,000 for 128GB and Rs 92,000 for 256GB.
