Airtel announces new data recharge packs with free voice calling

Airtel has today announced two new bundled packs for prepaid customers. The new packs include data benefits along with free voice calling. The announcement is one of the many offers that Airtel has announced ever since Reliance announced its free 4G services on Jio. The first pack is priced at Rs 146 and offers 300 MB data to customers with 4G ready mobile phones along with free local and STD Airtel-to-Airtel calls. The pack offers 50 MB data in addition to free Airtel-to-Airtel calls across India to customers that use a basic mobile phone with web surfing and light social media applications. The validity of the pack is 28 days and is available to Airtel customers all over India. The second pack is priced at Rs 349 and offers 1GB data to customers with 4G ready mobile phones along with free calls, local and STD, to any network in India. Just like the first pack, it will offer 50 MB data in addition to free calls to any network across India to customers with basic mobile phones. This pack also has a validity of 28 days and is available to all Airtel customers. Ajai Puri, Director, Market Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said, “This is another initiative from us to bring innovative bundle offers to our customers in line with our endeavour to provide the great value backed by a superior network experience.”
