After Canada and US, Microsoft is bringing Surface Book to ten new markets

Microsoft has indeed seen success with its Windows 10 software and its Surface range that so far, has only been available for purchase in the US and Canada (and just recently China and Hong Kong). So while making the announcement about the success of Windows 10, Microsoft also let out few details about its plans for its Surface Book laptop. According to the blog post, Microsoft has plans to bring its Surface Book to ten new markets. These markets include Austria, Australia, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland and New Zealand. Microsoft also wants to take the Surface Book to Japan as well. Sadly, India is not on this list. However, we do know that Microsoft has scheduled the launch of the Surface Pro 4 in India on 7 January and for now it also seems good enough. This is so, because Surface fans in India, have not been able to get their hands on one ever since the first Surface model launched. Microsoft’s Surface Book was announced alongside the Surface Pro 4 on October 2015 at Microsoft’s Surface devices event along with the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. The Surface Book packs in a 13.5-inch PixelSense display sporting a resolution of  3000 x 2000 pixels (267 ppi) with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. Inside, we get a number of customisable options with an Intel sixth generation Core i5 or i7 chipsets with discreet or built-in graphics processing. RAM modules can be anything between 8GB to 16GB with the most expensive model costing $2799 (approximately Rs 190,000).
