Aegis will host the second Data Science Congress from 29 May to 1 June at Navi Mumbai

Aegis School of Business, Data Science, Cyber Security and Telecom is hosting its second Data Science Congress (DSC) from 29 May to 1 June, 2018 at CIDCO Convention Centre in Navi Mumbai. The first Data Science Congress was held in 2017. The DSC will be four day event with three days for conferences and one day for a workshop. It is expected to bring more people than the previous DSC held in 2017.

DSC is a platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, highlighting best practices, innovations and discussing use cases among the practitioners, which include startups developing breakthrough innovation, data scientists, technology vendors, product, services and solution providers.

Bhupesh Daheria the CEO of Aegis School of Data Science said, “The 2nd edition of DSC will continue in its mission to groom the Indian talent and data scientists in the field of Analytics, Big Data, AI, machine learning, cyber security and IoT and help them showcase their skills that will help India take leaps in the field of data science.”

The event will focus on various themes related to data science such as analytics, big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, blockchain and cyber security.

Data Science Congress 2018 will see panel discussion with participation of IT Ministers, IT Secretaries of different states of India and CEO's of top IT companies. The discussion will be based on various topics including BFSI, health, blockchain, telecom, retail, manufacturing, media & entertainment. The organising committee includes Mr Amit Dubey, Deputy CTO of Tech Mahindra, Dr Avik Sarkar, from the Head Analytics Cell of NITI Aayog, Mr Mukesh Jain, CTO of VFS Global, Mr Sameer Dhanrajini, the Chief Strategy Officer of Fractal Analytics.

Data Science Congress 2017 saw participation from various sectors including an inauguration from Hon’ble Minister Mr Y.S Chowdhary and contributions from Minister of State for Ministry of Science and several organizations like NITI Aayog, National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), Department of Science & Technology, Amazon, AIG, IBM Research, Walmart Labs, Makemytrip, NVIDIA, Cisco, Tableau, PwC, SAP, Edelweiss, Fractal Analytics, American Express, Reliance JIO, Gramener, RBI, Myntra, etc.
