Acer launches Iconia B1 in India for Rs 7,999

After an international launch at CES 2013, Acer Iconia B1 tablet has made its way almost simultaneously to Indian markets as international ones. The Jelly Bean tablet launched at a price of Rs 7,999 aims to be a superior entry level tablet.

The Google Android 4.1 OS (Jelly Bean) based Iconia B1 is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor for enhanced performance and a great gaming experience. The 7-inch capacitive multi-touch screen comes with a resolution of 1024 x 600. Acer claims that the Iconia B1’s resolution is at least 60 percent better than the peer offerings and will enhance user experience while watching videos, e-reading, web browsing and playing games on the move.
