With the global launch of **Windows 10** done with yesterday, the next thing to look forward for the Windows users is the launch of the Windows 10 Mobile OS. While there is no set date regarding that launch (expected to be official in October or November) phone makers have already started moving ahead it may seem. Taiwanese PC and phone maker Acer is expected to launch four Windows 10 Mobile devices at this year’s IFA event in Berlin.
According to a tweet by user Roland Quandt from WinFuture, Acer will launch four new Windows Phones at IFA 2015. Unfortunately, that is all the tweet said and there are no details on the phone’s innards. Acer had announced a Windows Phone 8.1 based handset, the Liquid M220, in April. The Acer Liquid M220 is an entry level phone sporting a 4-inch display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The phone comes with 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-camera, 4GB of storage along with a microSD card slot. Earlier today we heard about Microsoft readying the **Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL** for launch in late September or early October. The Lumia 950 or Talkman will reportedly sport a 5.2-inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, one can expect a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB RAM, 20-megapixel rear snapper, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB storage and a 3,000mAh battery. The larger, 950 XL or Cityman, will come with a 5.7-inch display, and almost a similar set of specs. Apart from the larger display, some other differentiating specs will be an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and a 3,300mAh battery. So let the guessing games for the Windows 10 Mobile devices begin!
