The app has a feature called ‘Weather Alarms’, which provides weather events such as snow, wind, gust, and thunderstorms anywhere in the world. Current weather conditions data is updated every 15 minutes. It includes humidity percentages, visibility, UV index, wind speed and direction, times for sunrise and sunset.
The app also features RealFeel, AccuWeather’s proprietary weather forecasting system that takes into account multiple weather conditions to determine how the localized temperature actually feels, which may be warmer or cooler than the temperature depending on these conditions. The app has current weather videos available in English and Spanish. Upto 10 locations can be selected for weather updates. The app is free and is available on the Android Market .
Paddy does not, we repeat, definitely does NOT belong in the category of Mac-head (yeh right!). She does get excited by her iPhone and her iMac and her iPod Nano and her Macbook and Bali's iPad and her future iHouse (patent pending). Ok, so maybe her head is a little bit forbidden fruit shaped. She likes shooting video (iPhone 4 camera zindabad!) and editing montages (Final Cut Pro zindabad!), whether the scene calls for it or no. In her spare time, she's either kicking it on stage with KB the keyboard or kicking butt at Taekwondo.
