6.4-inch Xiaomi Max will fit in your jeans' pocket, if the teaser is to be believed

There is indeed a lot of talk in the rumour mill about Xiaomi’s gigantic smartphone aptly called the Max (or Mi Max). While we knew that it packs in a massive 6.4-inch display, we now also know that it will still fit in your jeans pocket. [caption id=“attachment_311078” align=“aligncenter” width=“203”] ![Image : Mi forums](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mi-max.jpg) Image : Mi forums[/caption] A teaser put out on the Mi forums seems to confirm the same. It shows a Xiaomi Mi Max phablet fitting snuggly into a jeans pocket indicating that it is not really as big as many are expecting it to be. Xiaomi indeed seems to have ensured that it gets the screen to body ratio right (something that it may boast about at launch). Keep the screen to body ratio maxed out means that users will have more display estate to play around with on the front than any other smartphone. While Samsung still feels that 5.8-inches is the maximum display that one can fit into a phablet, Xiaomi is cutting down on the bezels at the top and bottom to ensure that it users can get a 6.4-inch screen packed into a what hopefully is a 7-inch (tablet-sized) form factor for two handed use. As of now thanks to a previous leak from GizChina, we do know that the phablet look similar to the recently launched Mi 5 smartphone with a curved back and flat display on the front. We also know that it will pack in the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and that is expected to be launched in May.
