50,000 YU Yureka Plus units sold; next flash sale on July 30

Update: Yu claims to have sold 50,000 units of the Yureka Plus in its first flash sale on Amazon India. Registrations  are now open for the next sale on July 30 which will be exclusively available on Amazon at 12PM.  The newly launched YU Yureka Plus, priced at Rs 9999, will have its first flash sale today at 12PM on Amazon India. The device was **announced** a week ago and will be available for registered customers only. There is no announcement on how many devices will go on sale. The Yureka Plus will feature the latest Cyanogen 12 OS based on the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Just like the original, this phone also comes with dual-SIM configuration with support for 4G SIM cards. The device houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC which has an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with Adreno 405 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM. You will get 16GB onboard storage space along with an option to expand it to 32GB via a microSD card. On the camera front, you get a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. YU Yureka Plus will be powered by a 2,500 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, you will get Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and more. It will come in two variants: Alabaster White and Moodust Gray.
