Gold Price Live is the application released by www.goldprice.org, a pretty big name. The app gives you real time and historical silver and gold price charts and provides information in a variety of currencies including Indian Rupees. Prices update every minute and the charts automatically refresh. History charts go back upto 36 years. If you’re in the US, you can even use the app to find the best deals on gold and silver among local gold and silver dealers. Information on dealers in other countries will be coming soon. Gold Price Live is available from the iOS App Store and Android Market for free.
3. Kcast Gold Live!

Kcast Gold Live! is another free app available for iOS, Android and Blackberry OS. The app provides live spot prices for gold, silver and other precious metals and video news, commentaries and press releases. The app comes from market information website Kitco.com. After going through the settings on the phone, you need to change currency from USD to INR on the chart itself. The app is available for free from the iOS App Store, Android Market and Blackberry App World.
4. iBullion

iBullion is an Android only app developed by stepsystems. The app provides up to the minute prices of gold with spot price, high and low value of the day and price changes. It has multiple currencies including INR. You can set your default currency and refresh frequency in the settings tab. The app is free for a limited time and is available from the Android App Market.

Gold Tracker is an iOS only application developed by Kory Hearn softare. This app is interesting because you can conceal your profits with Kiosk Mode. Foreign currency, including INR is supported. Various unit sizes of metals are also supported including oz, gram, kilo etc. A little bonus, by purchasing the app, you’re helping the developer save for college. The app is available from the iOS App Store for $2.99 (Rs. 146).
