5.9-inch LG G Pro 2 goes up for sale in India; now available for Rs 49,900

Looks like the LG  G Pro 2 will soon be available in India. The16GB White model of the G Pro 2 has been listed by online retailer Snapdeal , and is now available for Rs 49,900, while the MRP reads Rs 54,990. The site promises to deliver the device in three working days.   Moreover, a local retailer named MaheshTelecom has sent out a tweet claiming that he will be receiving the LG G Pro 2 stocks soon. He has also revealed a similar market operating price of Rs 49,900.  The LG G Pro 2 was announced at the Mobile World Congress 2014 earlier this year. LG had also showcased its new lineup in India including the G Pro 2, and the smartphone was expected to hit India store shelves by the end of April or early May.   The LG G Pro 2 boasts of a 5.9-inch display, bigger than the 5.5 inch screen of the previous model, which  we thought was a great attempt on LG’s part . At 5.9 inches, it is indeed one of the biggest on the market, competing with the likes of the recently launched Oppo N1 . It comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.   Some other specs include 32GB internal storage expandable with a microSD slot, 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 4K video recording with stabilization and Android 4.4 KitKat.   Read our G Pro 2   first impressions , to know more.
