Soon after LastPass released its native app for Mac, arch rival Password1 has arrived with app updates for iOS as well as Mac. The new update is "fun" says the company in its most recent blogpost.

Firstly, the app now has a new login creator that lets you add hundreds of supported accounts with pre-filled information. One has to simply select from a list and then add the details required by specific service. This makes it much easier to add accounts on mobile. This feature is free, whether you are paid or regular user.

In addition, 1Password users with paid accounts will get the two-factor authentication, allowing users to create a second random password for sites like Amazon that support it. The new update also brings features like custom field types and the ability to delete attachments to Pro users.

1Password is available for free for iOS users, and to avail of Pro features one has to shell out $9.99.

1Password for Mac is also updated with easier syncing of primary and secondary vaults. "Secondary vaults can sync over Wi-Fi between Mac and iOS for people who hate the idea of syncing to the cloud—and you can keep secondary vaults from syncing if you want," points out MacWorld.

This update is available only for paid 1Password Mac users. 1password Mac Pro users have to shell out $49.99.
