The 16GB variant of the iPhone 5 is now available for purchase at online retailer Tradus.com for a wholesale price starting from Rs 59,500. The shipping fee and Cash on Delivery (COD) serviceability will be based on the buyer’s pincode. As per the product’s listing on the website, phones ordered now will be dispatched in 10-15 working days. Users can pick their choice of colour between white and black before the purchase.

The price of the iPhone 5 in the grey market, as per our sources, has dipped further. As it stands now, the 16GB variant of the iPhone 5 will cost you Rs 60,000, the 32GB one Rs 70,000, and the 64GB variant Rs 80,000.
Made entirely out of aluminium and glass, the iPhone 5 weighs a mere 112gm and is 20 percent lighter than the iPhone 4S. It is the thinnest iPhone yet at 7.6mm thick. Apple has chosen to debut iOS 6 with the iPhone 5, and the new OS includes Apple’s own Maps app, an updated version of Siri and lots more. Overall, the new iPhone has been upgraded in almost all respects.
Siri has also been updated and new features include support for more languages, easy access to sports scores, restaurant recommendations, movie listings, Facebook-enabled apps such as Photos, Safari browser, Maps and Shared Photo Streams via iCloud.
Safari has also received a major update – the ability to go full screen on the device by touching the arrows on the corners. Another major feature of the new Safari app is the ability to sync tabs between the desktop and iOS versions of Safari. This new feature is called iCloud Tabs. The new Mail app has also received some updates, including the ability to mark people as VIPs and the ability to flag certain mails for follow-ups.
After the recent revelation of the price of the iPhone 5 in the grey market, its prices went down, according to our sources. Apple’s latest offering was originally priced at Rs 1 lakh for the 64GB model. The prices, however, changed soon, with the 16GB version selling at Rs 62,000, and the 32GB version Rs 77,500. The slashed rate for the 64GB version was Rs 92,500. Our sources had stated at that time that these prices will change everyday.
