Apple is finally bringing its updated line-up of the iPad Pro, MacBooks, iMacs and the iMac Pro to India. Apple announced its 2017 line-up of products at WWDC early last month and had also listed its pricing in India, however, its new line up of products will go on sale in India starting today.
First reported by the News 18, the good news for a lot of enthusiasts is that the devices will come with a slightly lower price tag following the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) by the Government of India.
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro which is a new entrant into the Indian market will be priced, starting 50,800 for the 64 GB Wi-Fi model, going up to Rs 58,300 and Rs 73,900 for the 256 GB and 512 GB variations. Wi-Fi and cellular variants of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro start at Rs 61,400 for the base 64 GB option, going up to Rs 68,900 for 256 GB variant, and Rs 84,500 for the 512 GB variant.
Apple's MacBook Pro series which were introduced last year, get an updated chipset in 2017 and will see the 13-inch MacBook Pro (without TouchBar) cost Rs 1,04,900 for 128GB variant, the one with a TouchBar starts at Rs 1,54,900 for the 256 GB option. The 512 GB model, which is available only with a with a TouchBar can be bought at Rs 1,71, 900.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro will start at Rs 1,95,800 (256 GB) and go up to Rs 2,28,100. Apple's 12-inch MacBook will be priced at Rs 1,04,800 for the base (256 GB) model. The 512 GB variant will be made available at Rs 1,28,700.
Moving on to Apple’s 21.5-inch iMac without a Retina display will cost Rs 90,200. A more powerful 3.0 GHz model with a Retina display comes at Rs 1,06,400 while the 3.4 GHz variant costs Rs 1,23,700. Coming to the 27-inch iMac, pricing will start at Rs 1,47,400, Rs 1,66,000, and Rs 1,90,400 respectively for the 3.4 GHz, 3.5 GHz, and 3.8 GHz models respectively.
