Intel has unveiled its latest platform, vPro, at the Mobile World Congress 2024, designed to power AI-driven PCs tailored for business and enterprise use.

This cloud-based solution harnesses AI to streamline organizational workflows, promising enhanced security, expanded remote management capabilities, and a plethora of AI features for improved stability.

The vPro platform is underpinned by Intel’s cutting-edge Core Ultra processors with Arc GPUs and 14th Gen processors, ensuring top-notch performance. Collaborating with over 100 software vendors, Windows 11, and Copilot teams, Intel aims to introduce new AI-driven experiences tailored for business-focused PCs.

Leveraging the on-device CPU, GPU, and NPU, the platform promises to deliver seamless multitasking and AI applications.

Intel claims that devices equipped with the vPro platform will exhibit a remarkable 47 per cent boost in office application productivity compared to three-year-old PCs. Security is paramount, with Intel Threat Detection Technology leveraging the NPU to enhance anomaly detection efficiency while conserving power. Additionally, a new authentication engine safeguards system firmware, fortifying defences against cyber threats.
