Motorola Signature: Design, cameras, key features and specifications
The Motorola Signature features an elegant and slim design crafted from brushed aircraft-grade aluminium and rich fabric-inspired finishes, measuring just 6.99 mm thin and weighing 186 grams. Despite being slim, the phone is quite durable with an IP69-rated ingress protection. The design is elevated through textures and finishes that enhance both look and feel, reinforcing a modern and premium aesthetic.
Available in Pantone curated colours, the Martini Olive variant features a twill-inspired woven texture for richness and the Carbon variant offers a linen-inspired textured finish meant to reflect modern minimalism.
The Motorola Signature features supposedly the world’s first Triple Sony LYTIA Pro-Grade camera system, validated with the DXOMARK Gold Label certification for high quality photo and video performance across real-world scenarios.
At the core of the photography department is a 50MP main camera with Sony’s new LYTIA 828 sensor, delivering high quality imaging with Dolby Vision video recording in 8K and 4K resolution up to 60 FPS, advanced noise reduction and 3.5 degrees optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The main camera is supported by a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 periscope telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, OIS and up to 100X Super Zoom Pro and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with 122 degrees field of view and close-focus macro capability. Lastly, a 50MP Sony LYTIA 500 front camera supporting 4K video at 60 FPS completes the trifecta of Sony cameras.
The camera system is further enhanced with Pantone Validated Colour and SkinTone calibration and a multispectral 3-in-1 light sensor for accurate exposure, white balance and colour reproduction.

Motorola Signature: Initial impressions
We got to spend a few minutes with the Motorola Signature and we liked what we saw. The phone indeed looks premium and is incredibly slim and light. In fact, the weight distribution is so good that it feels a lot lesser than the stated 186 grams.
Despite the slim body, the construction is solid and the phone feels great in hand. However, it is a sizable device due to its large 6.8-inch display, and I sincerely hope Motorola considers releasing a mini version of this phone.
The display looks sharp and vibrant despite not sporting a QHD resolution. We are quite excited about testing the main camera with Sony’s flagship LYTIA 828 sensor, however, we would not like to comment on it based on our experience of clicking a few shots at the venue where the lighting was suboptimal.
The near-stock Android 16 UI with a commitment of seven years of OS and security updates is a big plus. We will reserve the final judgment for our in-depth review if and when we receive a unit for testing, which I suspect was accidentally handed over to Kriti Sanon.
