A Shenzhen based start-up OnePlus Technology Co. Ltd, also known as or commonly known as OnePlus, is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer. It was founded by Pete Lau and Carl Pei in December 2013. It is Headquartered in Tairan Building in Chegongmiao, Futian District. At starting, the company’s primary goal was to design a smartphone that would balance high-end quality with a lower price, believing that users would Never Settle for the low-quality devices produced by other companies. Lau told that ‘ We will never be different just for the sale of being different.’ The company has unveiled its first device, the OnePlus One on 23 April 2014. It was intended to capture the market from Google Nexus. Also, initially, the company has started selling its smartphone through an invite system. Of the late company has held open sales for its smartphones and now it bids to offer flagship-level specs in its smartphones with reasonable pricing. The company has launched various flagship products that are available across regions worldwide.
