Hot on the heels of HCL Infosystems which launched two Android powered tablets on Monday, Micromax has announced the launch of the Android 4.0 (Ice cream sandwich) powered Funbook in India. The Funbook which will be priced at Rs 6,499 boasts a 7-inch capacitive display, a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB internal storage. Its 2,800 mAh battery should last around five hours. NDTV reported that among other features, the Funbook will come with pre-loaded e-learning app that will have host of educational content from Pearson, Everon, GK Publishers, Scholarshub, Vidyalankar, Universal Tutorials, CAPS and Zion.
