Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 with 5.7-inch screen launched for Rs 19,990

Micromax’s new smartphone the Canvas Doodle 2 with a 5.7-inch screen is now available on Snapdeal. The price of the phone is also higher than the recently launched Canvas 4 as the Canvas Doodle 2 costs Rs 19,990.

Micromax’s new smartphone the Canvas Doodle 2 with a 5.7-inch screen is now available on Snapdeal. The price of the phone is also higher than the recently launched Canvas 4 as the Canvas Doodle 2 costs Rs 19,990. The Canvas 4 was launched at a price of Rs 17,999. The smartphone is currently available on online retailer Snapdeal and with the price tag of Rs 19,990 making it the most expensive phone by Micromax. Micromax teased the launch of the new phone on its Facebook page with the tagline “Can your imagination get bigger?” For now the phone is not listed on the official Micromax website but Snapdeal says that it will deliver the phone in 5 days. Canvas Doodle 2 is seen in this file photo.[/caption] So what does the Canvas Doodle 2 offer other than a 5.7-inch screen? It has a screen resolution of 1280x720p which is the same as the Canvas 4. The processor is 1.2GHz quad-core with 1GB of RAM and the phone comes with 12GB internal storage. This a dual-sim smartphone and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The phone has a 12 megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5 megapixel camera in the front. The phone supports 3G, 2G and WiFi. It has a 2,600mAh battery with 8 hours talk time on 2G network according to the company. It also comes with Micromax’s gimmicky software features such as Video Pinning which lets users pin the video on the homescreen and open other apps at the same time, an S-pen, Smart Pause while watching video and Blow Air or Shake to Unlock.
