Microsoft is majorly known for its software products. It includes Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office suite along with this, there are few flagship products like Xbox Video game console and the Microsoft Surface lineup of touch screen personal computers as well. Microsoft surface is personal computers based on a touchscreen and interactive whiteboards running on the Microsoft Windows operating system. These devices have 7 generations of 2-in-1 detachable notebooks, a convertible desktop, an interactive whiteboard, hybrid tablets and variety of accessories. Majority of the surface lineup consists of Intel processors and are compatible with company’s own Windows 10 operating system. Microsoft’s Surface family features eight main lines of products or devices – a Surface line of hybrid tablets, Surface Pro, Surface Laptop, Surface Book, Surface Studio, Surface Hub and surface duo. All surface products come under these major lines of products.  In 2012, the company first announced Surface at an event. The Surface was the first major initiative by Microsoft to integrate its Windows operating system. On May 3, 2017, the company unveiled the surface laptop. The company claims that it has a thinnest touch-enabled LCD panel.
