Lenovo is a Chinese technology company headquartered in Beijing, which designs, develops and sell personal computers, tablet, smartphones, smart television etc. It is the world’s largest personal computer vendor by unit sales. Known for its ThinkPad and ThinkBook business lines of notebook computers, it also serves Yoga, Ideapad, Notebook laptops etc. In terms of computing, the company truly expanded in 2005 through its acquisition of IBM personal computer business. Till January 2013, shipments of Think computers doubled since Lenovo’s takeover of the brand. As a result, Lenovo expanded the THINK brand from laptop computers to tablets. ThinkPad is the line of business-oriented laptop computers features black design. One of the major achievement of the company is that ThinkPad has been used in space and were only laptops certified for use on the International Space Station. Lenovo entered the Android and windows tablet market in 2011.
