India’s Infosys expands partnership with Intel to assist global businesses in accelerating AI initiatives

Infosys and Intel have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership aimed at assisting global enterprises in accelerating their artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives.

As part of this collaboration, Infosys will offer advanced AI solutions designed to help businesses achieve cost-effectiveness and performance-driven outcomes while prioritizing responsible AI practices, as stated in a regulatory filing by Infosys.

Infosys Topaz, a comprehensive suite of AI services, solutions, and platforms focused on leveraging generative AI technologies, will integrate Intel-based solutions.

These solutions include Intel Xeon processors, Intel Gaudi accelerators, Intel Core Ultra processors, software, and future-generation products. This integration will empower customers to seamlessly integrate advanced AI capabilities into their operations while adhering to evolving AI governance standards.

According to Intel, the collaboration aims to deliver AI solutions that not only drive performance and cost-effectiveness but also uphold responsible AI principles by design.

Balakrishna D.R. (Bali), Executive Vice President and Global Services Head of AI and Industry Verticals at Infosys, highlighted the company’s commitment to an AI-first strategy.

“Infosys has embraced an AI-first strategy to deliver advanced AI services to clients seeking to unlock significant business value across their operations. The Infosys Topaz offerings and solutions seamlessly complement Intel’s core stack and its ‘AI Everywhere’ strategy,” he said.

Christoph Schell, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Intel Corporation, emphasized the importance of delivering competitive total cost of ownership (TCO) and time-to-value AI solutions. “Customers and developers are looking for competitive TCO and time-to-value AI solutions to scale and win. Our approach in bringing AI everywhere is by supporting an open AI software ecosystem and accelerating the adoption of Intel Xeon and Gaudi accelerators for Gen AI use cases” he said.
