In an exciting move for India’s space sector, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has teamed up with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to address crucial thermal management challenges in spacecraft and launch vehicles.

This collaboration will lead to the establishment of a Centre of Excellence in Fluid and Thermal Sciences at IIT Madras, supported by ISRO with a funding commitment of Rs 1.84 crore.

The centre will focus on developing cutting-edge thermal solutions to enhance the performance and reliability of space missions.
